I am a pure Japanese who loves traveling and photography. A long time ago, a foreign girl told me, “Your photos changed my life.” Since then, taking pictures of beautiful landscapes and showing them to others has become my purpose in life. At the same time, I feel that I am having the most fun when I am doing this activity. And I think it is a blessing to have found “something that is unique to me” in my 20s. I want many people to know the beauty of Japan through my activities.
Also, the phrase “journey of self-discovery” often comes up, and if you are worried, sad, or stressed, I hope you will go on a trip. I would be happy if this column can help you with that! ! I also post in Japanese. I intend to create interesting articles on Japan from various perspectives, so I look forward to receiving your opinions and feedback. Please switch to the menu screen and use it for studying Japanese. In this article, I would like to write about my activities, introduce myself, and what I think.
Japan is a wonderful country‼︎
I am glad to be born in this country. Japan has an interesting national character that flexibly adopts foreign cultures such as Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. We have a unique culture that has been built up over 2000 years, a serious personality, and good public safety. Thanks to that good public safety, vending machines and convenience stores are everywhere. You can go out relatively safely even at night.
Our predecessors built infrastructure such as gas, water, and electricity throughout Japan during the high economic growth and bar era. Systemized technology and morals. It seems that Japan is the only country that has trains that run exactly on time. 3/4 of Japan’s land area is mountainous, so there is plenty of water. Having a lot of clean water means that the food is delicious. So “Japanese food” is fresh and high quality even by global standards.
In addition, there are clean toilets, hot springs everywhere, beautiful four seasons, otaku culture such as anime and manga, and so on. There is no end to the charms of Japan. And I think this country is the most peaceful country in the world. I will spread the good things about Japan through this activity! I believe this is the mission given to me by God.
Self-introduction
I was born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1990. Kanagawa Prefecture has both the sea and the mountains, the city and the countryside, and I personally think it’s the best prefecture to live in. I have a high tolerance for loneliness and can go anywhere by myself. I’m shy, but I’m friendly, so I like doing things with other people.
Photography
Humanity has not yet developed a time machine, but we can see scenes from the past. The means to do this is “photography.” With film, the light of that moment is burned onto the film, and with digital technology, light information is quantified.
I think this is as realistic as looking at a view from a window. When you look at a photograph, the accompanying information such as emotions and memories from that time are also reproduced in your mind. It’s truly a time machine. This is a unique appeal of photography that no other art has.
Take aerial shots from a bird’s eye view!!
I obtained a second-class national license for unmanned aerial vehicles in June 2024. I currently own an intermediate model called the DJI Are3, and I would like to take beautiful aerial photos and images in various locations.
Filming an exhilarating bike tour!!
I don’t currently own a motorcycle, but I’ve always loved motorcycles. I also have a license for a large motorcycle, so I regularly rent one and go on tours. I’ll be bringing you some exhilarating motorcycle videos.
“Snowboarding lovers” get to see the most amazing winter scenery!!
In the winter, I go snowboarding. I’ve been snowboarding for over 10 years, but I realized that I’m not good at sports, so I just slide down the slopes without trying tricks or kickers. It’s a blissful time just to go to the ski resort, see the scenery and feel the winter. I’ll be shooting beautiful snowy mountain scenery and exhilarating riding footage.
I will be visiting hot springs all over the country and sharing their charms!!
In Japan, there are hot springs in all 47 prefectures, and there are more than 50,000 hot springs nationwide. Japan is a hot spring powerhouse, and I make sure to visit a hot spring at least once a week. The happiest thing is drinking fruit milk after a hot spring bath. I want to visit hot springs all over the country and tell people about the charms of each one.
Scuba diving
I am a licensed scuba diver. I am currently taking a break due to decompression, but am considering returning. I will never forget that feeling of unreality.
Upcoming activities: Photographing spectacular scenery all over Japan!!
I will travel to the 47 prefectures of Japan and take pictures of the scenic spots, and convey the charm of each place through various methods such as aerial photography, road movies using touring and cars, underwater footage, ski resorts and hot springs. After I finish the 47 prefectures, I plan to start a world edition.
Get a travel agency license‼︎
I’ve been getting more and more DMs asking me to tell them more about the photos and videos I post, such as “Where is this place?” So I thought I could arrange flights and hotels myself, have them actually come to these places, and have them be impressed, so I’m aiming to get a qualification as a “travel agent.”
Hold a solo exhibition overseas‼︎
Last year I held a solo exhibition in Tokyo, and this autumn I will be holding one in Kyoto of the photos I have taken so far. Next year I would like to hold a solo exhibition overseas with the theme of beautiful Japanese scenery. Even if it is small-scale, I would like to hold it in a pro-Japanese country first.
Summary
Thank you for reading this far. I will be your eyes, your ears, your feet, and continue to passionately convey the beauty of Japan today and in the future! ︎ When I travel and see the magnificent, beautiful scenery, my existence feels insignificant. That way I can be grateful for the things I take for granted, and the worries I have now disappear. I hope that you will feel that way from my photos, videos, and the content I will share in the future. I look forward to your continued support.
Below is my content. I would be happy if you would visit it too.
