埼玉県秩父地域の雲海は東京から一番近く行ける雲海スポットとして有名で雲海観測ツアーなども組まれています。
秩父は四方を山に囲まれてたおり、放射冷却により発生した霧が下に滞留して、暖かい空気が上にあり蓋をしている状態となります。したがって雲海が発生しやすい地形と言えます。
雲海が発生する条件は?
・前日の湿度が高い
(雨などにより地面に湿気が溜まる)
・当日に晴れる
(放射冷却により冷やされて霧が発生する)
・風があまりない
(発生した霧が風に飛ばされず溜まっている)
このような条件が整えば雲海が発生します。春か秋になるとこの条件の天候が多くなりますが、統計的に10 月中旬～11 月中旬頃が発生のピークとなるようです。
雲海と夜景の絶景スポット「美の山公園」
天気予報にて、撮影当日の天気が雲海が発生する条件と当てはまったので、秩父の雲海観測スポットとして有名な美の山公園にやってきました。
この公園の標高は586.9mで展望台が三ヵ所あるので山の回りをほぼ360°展望することができます。
そして、夜景100 選にも選ばれています。
夜明け前に到着したしたので雲海のモヤが街の明かりボケさせて絶景という言葉がふさわしい光景になっていました。
今回撮影したのは階段を登ってからすぐの所にある「入り口展望台」で、街の夜景はこの展望台が一番見れると思います。
他の雲海スポット「ミューズパーク」
この展望台は標高363mのところにあり、市街地から車で約15分ほどで行けるアクセスと秩父雲海スポットとしては一番の人気スポットと言えます。
雲海から秩父公園橋の主塔の上の部分が飛び出している光景を見ることができ、また展望台が東側にあるので雲海と朝日がセット見ることができます。
人気なので混雑する可能性があるのと、標高が低いので雲海が厚い場合展望スペースが霧の中に入ってしまう可能性があります。
雲海が見れるパワースポット「三峯神社 」！！
パワースポットとしても有名な三峯神社。
標高約1100mの場所にあり市街地から車で約1時間と少し距離があります。
しかし、標高が高い分雲海の観測率が高く、
雄大な山合の景色と雲海のコラボレーションが最高のスポットなります。

雲海は早い時間に消えてしまう為、雲海スポットの梯子はなかなか厳しく…
ミューズパークと三峯神社は文章だけの紹介となってしまいました。
いずれ、この二つスポットにも訪れて実際に撮影したいと思います。
今回の美の山公園ではばっちり濃い雲海が発生し、夜景とのコラボレーションそして、街と雲海の絶景を撮影でき満足できる旅にとなりました。
都心から90分ほどで訪れられる雲海のスポットとなるので、天気予報などで発生条件が当てはまった場合雲海を見に来てはどうでしょうか？
