Kiyosato Plateau is easily accessible from both Tokyo and Nagoya. Located at an altitude of 1,200m, it is famous as a summer resort that is cool even in summer. This time, we will introduce Doryu Falls, a scenic spot around Kiyosato Plateau, where spring water flows delicately like silk from a rock wall.
【Doryu no Taki Falls】A delicate and beautiful waterfall that looks like a Japanese garden! !
It is a waterfall with a drop of 10 meters and a width of 15 meters.
Water flows beautifully and delicately like silk thread from the crevices between the rocks.
It seems that it came to be called “DoryunoTaki = Dragon’s Breath Fall” because it looks like a dragon’s breath.
The waterfall is tall and the muddy stream is powerful and good, but this waterfall is a quiet and mysterious waterfall where water flows little by little between rocks with a width of 15m.
It is an easy-to-access waterfall that can be reached by trekking for about 10 minutes along the riverside promenade from the parking lot.
You can enjoy the beauty of the valley such as fresh green and autumn leaves.
The promenade is relatively easy to walk, but there are many stones around the waterfall, so it is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes instead of sandals.
Also, the road to the parking lot is a little narrow, so if you are not used to driving, it may be difficult to pass each other.

During the period of high economic growth, Kiyosato Plateau was a youth town that was called the second Harajuku.
However, there are still many spots where you can fully enjoy nature, such as mountain climbing, trekking, farms, and gourmet food.
