Hikawa Shrine in Saitama Prefecture is said to bring good luck in improving human relations.
And this shrine is a power spot famous for being decorated with 2000 wind chimes for about two months from July 7.
On this trip, we took a walk in the town of Kawagoe where the old-fashioned scenery remains, and then went to Hikawa Shrine to see the wind chimes.
Stroll through the traditional streets of Kawagoe! !
First of all, I took a walk around the streets of Kawagoe.
Here, the old-fashioned Japanese-style scenery still remains and is called Koedo (Small Edo).
And this place was nominated for “100 Beautiful and Historic Landscapes”.
The street is lively with shops selling various foods, souvenirs and kimono rental.
I was invited to a delicious smell and ate Dango,.
Kashiyayocho (candy street)
現Currently there are about 20 shops selling sweets such as candy and rice crackers on this street.
The sight is a very nostalgic atmosphere.
When I visited, the shop was almost closed, but I was able to photograph the tranquility of the evening.
This place was also nominated for “100 Scented and Beautiful Scenes”.
Tokinokane (The Bell of Time)
And I saw the bell that was the symbol of this city! !
The bell still rings four times a day.
(6 o’clock, 12 o’clock, 15 o’clock, 18 o’clock)
A three-layer tower 16 meters high.
There have been several fires and the current bell tower is the 4th generation.
And to Hikawa Shrine, famous for 2000 wind chimes. ”
I came to Hikawa Shrine, famous for wind chimes.
You will arrive within a 10-minute walk from the streets of Kawagoe City.
From July 7 to September 9, about 2000 Edo wind chimes will be displayed. In fact, there were many wind chimes on the shrine grounds and I was surprised.
You can put a wish tag on the wind chime !!
The fee is 500 yen and you can decorate the wish tag on the wind chimes. Wind chimes are different one by one and every time the wind blows. You will feel cool.
▼A glowing river reminiscent of the Milky Way!!
▼Wish plate tunnel!!
▼Lighted up beautiful wind chimes!!
Summary
As the name of Koedo, the old and emotional streets were gathered in a compact. So it was a very nice city that was easy to walk around. There were quite a few people who rented yukata and took a walk.
Hikawa Shrine was a lively power spot! ! The wind chimes are lit up until 21:00, so make sure to visit after taking a stroll through Coedo! ! I want to visit Coedo from the daytime, borrow a yukata and take a walk while eating various foods (^^ ♪
