I want to convey the wonder of travel and the beauty of Japan through my photographs. With that thought in mind, I decided to hold a photo exhibition in Kyoto. I want to give courage and energy to even just one person through my photographs, and if there are people who are feeling anxious or frustrated, I hope I can help them to resolve those feelings.

I took this photo on a path in the bamboo forest in Arashiyama.
It was raining lightly when I took the photo, so the bamboo was wet and I was able to capture the beautiful, shiny bamboo in the photo you see here.

【Miyagi Prefecture’s Fox Village】
Over 100 foxes are allowed to roam freely in the spacious grounds. There are no fences and the foxes are in the same space, so they come so close you can almost touch them. However, if you touch them, they will bite you 100% of the time… so please keep an eye on them from nearby.

【Shubodai, a spectacular observation deck 】
The second observation deck from the entrance to Satsukiyama Driveway in Osaka is Shubodai. It is the most popular spot on the Satsukiyama Driveway. You can see the observation deck and the torii gate.

【Reflecting Sakura at Odawara Castle】
The grounds of Odawara Castle are planted with a variety of flowers and plants that add color to the four seasons.
In spring, you can see the cherry blossoms reflected in the moat.
The main flowers and plants are as follows:
1. Spring: cherry blossoms, wisteria, and azaleas
2. Summer: hydrangeas, irises, and lotus flowers
3. Autumn: autumn leaves, sweet osmanthus, and Japanese anemone
4. Winter: chrysanthemums, camellias, camellias, and plum blossoms

【Legendary Island】
Aogashima is a volcanic island that belongs to the Izu Islands. It is difficult to access, with a 50% cancellation rate for boats due to high waves. I visited the island even though I wasn’t sure if I would be able to return.
There are moments when people’s values change. I experienced that on this island.
The address is Aogashima Village, Tokyo. It has an area of about 6 km2, which is about the size of 128 Tokyo Domes. Although it is a volcanic island, there are about 170 residents in 2019.
It is a double caldera, making it a rare volcanic island in the world.

This place is a cave in the Fuji Sea of Trees where dragons are said to appear. Some people may be overly afraid of the Fuji Sea of Trees. In reality, it is a relatively safe and beautiful forest as long as you stay on the route.

This is a spectacular island where a path to the island appears at low tide.
I visited this place at the end of my trip in Nishiizu.
【Spectacular winter scenery at Mishaka Pond】
Mishaka Pond is an agricultural pond located in the eastern part of Nagano Prefecture.
However, it is not a natural pond, but an artificial one. Mishaka Pond is filled with soft fresh green leaves in spring, vibrant dark green in summer, yellow larch trees in autumn, and a world of silver in winter. In winter, Mishaka Pond is filled with pure white snow, which is a sorrowful yet soul-cleansing sight.

【Hokanji Temple at night】
A young man who loved Japan passed away without ever visiting the country.
I photographed this place at the request of his friend, wanting to show his parents the scenery their son would have wanted to see.
The course from Hokanji Temple to Kiyomizu-dera Temple is one of the most recommended historical walking courses in Kyoto.
This is because the beautiful streetscape full of the atmosphere of the ancient capital, Kyoto, still remains between Hokanji Temple and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

【Echizen Ono Castle】
Echizen Ono Castle in Fukui Prefecture is called the castle in the sky. The reason is that Echizen Ono Castle is located on very high ground and when a sea of clouds occurs, it appears to be floating above the clouds.
As you can see, it’s a magnificent castle with a panoramic view of the city.

The name Ubara Utopia comes from the fact that there were plans to build a villa area here at the end of the Taisho period, and from then on Ubara came to be called an “Utopia.”
