It was named Ryusyun Waterfall because the waterfall did not appear until late spring. Currently, the water does not dry up, but in rare winters when the temperature is low, the water may freeze and prevent water from flowing into the waterfall.

❶Ryusyun Waterfall What kind of waterfall is it?
Ryusyun Waterfall has a height of 15m. Its characteristic feature is that the amount of water is small, making it a gorgeous yet beautiful feminine waterfall. The water flowing down the black rock surface is gentle, and visitors are soothed by its graceful appearance. The private parking lot is located less than 10 minutes from the waterfall.

Ryusyun Waterfall is located on the “Mikaeri Course” of the Shiobara Valley Promenade. There are chairs and tables for resting near the waterfall. Therefore, it is perfect for a break during a hike along the Shiobara Valley promenade. You can eat your lunch slowly while watching the flow of the waterfall.

Ryusyun Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge located just before crossing Ryusyun Falls. It is a small suspension bridge about 20m long and 1m wide. It spans the Houkigawa River just down the stairs from the driveway. You can enjoy the beauty of the Hokigawa River valley from the Suspension Bridge in Ruharu. The lush Houkigawa River flows through the rows of giant rocks, giving it a completely different appearance than the Houkigawa River that flows through hot spring towns.
➁【Mikaeri Waterfall】 A waterfall where travelers can’t help but look back!!
Mikaeri Falls is a waterfall located southeast of Rushun Falls along the Houkigawa River in Shiobara Valley in Nasu-Shiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture. Mikaeri means to turn around. The name comes from the way travelers who visited the waterfall would turn around when returning from the waterfall.

Mikaeri Falls is a direct waterfall with a drop of approximately 53 meters and a width of approximately 3 meters. It is one of the ten famous Shiobara waterfalls. Its characteristic feature is a long, thin, beautiful waterfall that looks like a crystal blind. There is also a Mikaeri waterfall promenade, but the promenade has collapsed and is currently impassable.
❷【Mikaeri suspension bridge】A beautiful suspension bridge that is 100m long‼︎
Mikaeri Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the Hoki River near Mikaeri Falls. It is approximately 100m long, 1m wide, and 30m high. This is a suspension bridge that is the starting point of the valley walk. The height and shaking are said to be the best in Shiobara. Cross the Mikaeri suspension bridge and walk about 10 meters to the observation deck, where you can see Mikaeri Falls.

Momijidani Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Sekiya, Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture.
It is a large suspension bridge spanning Shiobara Dam Lake with a total length of 320 m, a main tower height of 26 m, and an effective width of 1.5 m.
It is especially popular as a scenic spot during the fall foliage season, and is visited by many tourists.

Shiobara Green Village is a campsite located approximately 1.2 km from the Shiobara Valley Promenade. It has a vast grounds and you can choose from a variety of accommodations such as cottages, cabins, and log houses. There are day-trip hot springs and private open-air baths, so you and your family can enjoy Nasushiobara to the fullest.
