“Sanbuichi Yusui”A place where conflicts were eliminated by dividing the spring water into three equal parts in the Edo period.
The spring water of this place has been selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan, and it is said that since the Edo period, this water has been useful as agricultural water, and the surrounding villages have been fighting over water resources.
There is a legend that Takeda Shingen once built it to cleanly divide the spring water of this place into three equal parts in order to eliminate conflicts between farmers.
Now this place is maintained as a park, and there is a museum, a vegetable market, and a soba restaurant nearby.
Even now, spring water flows out from this place like a fountain, and about 8,500 tons of water is gushing out every day.
A device was devised to slow down the large amount of water that flows, and the slowly flowing water accumulates in the square pond in the photo.
Eventually, the water accumulated in the pond overflows, and the water is evenly divided into three equal parts.
It seems that this technology is still being evaluated academically.
It takes about 1 hour by car from Mt. Amari to Sambuichi Yusui.
As a recommended travel plan, it might be nice to eat delicious food in Kiyosato, which is famous as a summer resort, enjoy nature in this park, and see the night view on the way back.
Also, after watching the night view, it might be a good idea to camp nearby and visit Kiyosato the next day.
